ALL ABOUT US
The More You Know
We are so glad you decided to visit our site and learn more about us and all of the work we have done. We are curious, life-long students with many passions—both shared and separate! However, what we love most in life is learning about new subjects and helping others to learn, too. We're here to show you what we have learned, and hopefully, spark an interest in your mind as well!

Team members:
LAUREN
I modelled the desktop model and its organs in Blender. I also designed the logo, and created the website! This was my first hackathon, and it was great to find such a dedicated team right away. I've learned a lot in a very short period of time—like to have confidence in my 3D modeling abilities!
ANNA
I worked on functionality for the human body objects, backend data, and audio files for the Technica VR app. I tested an initial female model in Unity using C#, wrote scripts to rotate and move organs, and collaborated on code with my teammates. I also pulled medical data from OpenStax Anatomy & Physiology and created audio files using NaturalReader 16 that auditory learners can hear playing inside the app when they interactively explore human physiology.
SABREEN
I worked on initial research of Unity models and the movement of human body objects, and learned a lot about C# in the process. I also wrote up scripts for organ movement and collaborated on code with my teammates. The Unity assets we utilized included a test female body, systems, and helper robot to educate the VR user.
INES
I worked on the VR app environment using Unity and C#. I created the medical room, assembled Unity models, and tested the user experience with an Oculus Rift. I also learned version control with Git to collaborate with my team!
